Originally a stage and recording name for Midwest singer-songwriter Thomas Fricilone, Raise High the Roof Beam has grown to a musical collective consisting of five members: Thomas, Aly, Scott, Josh, and Will. With a wide range of influences and musical styles the quintet offers an energy level and style that is hard to find. The band brings an eclectic array of acoustic and electric guitars, banjo, ukulele, piano, drum machines and synthesizers to performances that will not disappoint. Raise High the Roof Beam has been compared by friends and critics alike to artists such as Sufjan Stevens, The Beatles, Brian Wilson, Of Montreal, and The Flaming Lips.
